Administrative Guidelines
 

2412 - HOMEBOUND INSTRUCTION

 A.Whenever a principal finds that a student will be absent from school for health reasons, s/he should contact the Director of Academic Services to arrange for an IEP to be developed with the student's teachers and counselors.

 B.Accurate time sheets must be kept of all cases. The time sheet is to be signed by the parent and attached to the completed voucher.

 C.Time sheets and vouchers are to be submitted by the end of the pay period.

 D.All books and supplies will be furnished by the school in which the student is registered.

 E.Instruction will be given only on days that school is in session. Each child will receive a minimum of five (5) hours of instruction per week.

 F.The instructor shall forward grades to the principal of the school the student attends by the end of the marking period.

 G.Instructors will receive the mileage reimbursement at the established rate.

 H.If there are any questions pertaining to payment for bedside instruction or mileage, the Director of Academic Services should be contacted.
